Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll get a reset link from Clerk (our auth provider). If it doesn't show up in a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us.

How do I delete my account?

Email ryan@motifai.ai from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account plus any server-side data within 14 days. You'll get a confirmation when it's done.

I think Spark got an NEC section wrong. What do I do?

Open the section in the app, tap the share / report icon in the top-right corner, and choose "Report an issue." Tell us what's wrong and what you'd expect. We review every report and the fix ships in the next content update — no app re-install needed.

How do I become a beta tester?

Email us with your name, trade, and home state. We're admitting testers in waves so it may take a few days to send your TestFlight invite.

Why is the conduit price for my distributor different from what Spark shows?

The defaults are national-average list prices. Tap "Your prices" on the conduit-fill screen to enter your own per-foot prices or a distributor discount. Your prices stay on your device unless you're signed in, in which case they sync.

Does Spark work offline?

Yes for code lookups, the conduit-fill calculator, and your bookmarks. You'll need a connection for AI-answered questions and photo analysis.

Is voice search private?

On iOS, Spark uses Apple's on-device speech recognition where available, so your audio doesn't leave the phone. Microphone access is only used while you're holding the mic button.
